SD diet and suppliments

Hi everyone i have only been a member of this group for about a
month or so but i have some grreat news. I know alot of you might
have tried diets for weight loss or deppresion, but have you ever
tried it for SD? for three months now i have been on a strick diet
with suppliments of natural acidophillus. The diet is this.
Eliminate all yeast, fungus, vinegar, most dairy products and sugary
foods. eat lots of fresh vegtables, meat, nuts and overall healthy
foods. The reason to get rid of those certain foods is because the
intestines of people with SD and many other skin conditions have a
high probability of being infected by to much of a yeast called
candidia. This yeast feeds on the foods you must eliminate from
your diet. When candidia grows in the intestine it creates toxins
which the digestive system canot expel quick enough and therefore
the toxins are secreated through the skin in the form of SD. hence
the presence of certain yeast and bacteria on your skin. not eating

certain foods starves the candida and the suppliment of acidophillus
encourages growth od healthy intestinal bacteria. I have cured my SD
95% with this diet. Before i was on the diet I had SD on my chest
and entire face, along with acne in certain spots and begining signs
of rosacea. I wont lie to you, the diet is hard to follow. but you
must have will power. As an example, what I take daily is 1.5 billon
live cells of acid ophillus in the morning before breakfast. i avoid
spices, condiments and anything else listed above, I also avoid
fruits because of high sugar content. give this a try for atleast a
month. I did and it changed my life. I dont need any more treatments
now that i found a cure.

You are describing several changes you made to your diet at
the same time. You are giving credit to the whole array of
changes, when there is really no way to accurately judge the
contribution of each of the components.

thats correct, I have made a large amount of changes in my diet but
it was all the result of trial and error over the course of about a
year. for instance I would stop eating yeast for a certain amount
of time and monitor the effects, then try dairy products, spicy
foods and so on. If the effect is good I know the food is bad. I
keep a mental log of what worsens SD for me an. Once in a while I
will eat a slice of bread just to see if it wasnt some fluke that My
SD cleard up, and the yeast will have a negative effect on my skin.
I try this with many types of foods and have eventually found a
sutible diet for me. But you must remember everyone is different,
and the way you procces food could be unique from me or other
people. I am not here to give you a precise day to day regime of
foods and suppliments, I am simply stating the fact that you are
    what you eat.

I must agree with Antonio about diet. Yes having a good diet will
surely help general health, but no i don’t think its necessarily the
key. Over the last 8 years of SD I have spent months without; milk,
cheese, eggs, sweeteners, alcohol, sugar (and probably more that I
don’t recall when I was on the apple cider vinegar group’s insane
abstenance diet). The only thing I’d really steer clear of is alcohol
as it dehydrates the skin - I would suggest not drinking at all.

I want to ask what exactly you think is OK to eat with this diet.
So far it appear that meats, nuts and veggies are ok. I like all of
those, but surely there are other things one could eat. What about
chips, pretzels, diet sodas, etc? And do you think that eliminating
one (yeast or sugar) is more critical than the other? Thanks for
    the help.

    Hi Mike,
I’m not the person you replied too, but here’s my 2 cents. I read
that Walnuts are best (omega 3). And, I also read that processed
chips and diet sodas are bad for everyone.

In my opinion, a simple daily dietary supplement is usually your best
bet, unless you live in a third-world country. There are dietary
supplements that focus on skin, hair and nails. My learned as much as
I could about dietary supplements then asked my own primary care
provider what he thought because I’m on medication for COPD.

Now, I have no problem eating fresh fruits 3 times daily, but I avoid
canned or fruit cups because they are packed in corn syrup.

I’m also a 10 year cancer survivor, but it still took me a long time

to learn about the dangers of eating processed foods like potatoes
chips and diet soda. I suffer with SD, but currently have mine under
control. I eat sandwiches made on egg bread and avoid white and wheat
bread and also sugar. I take dietary supplements and I wear Derma
Smart lounge shirts and pants, and I only use fragrant free products
    for extremely sensitive skin.

Do some Internet searching and read up on the dangers of eating
processed foods and using harsh chemicals and fragrances on your
skin. Shop around for healthier foods and products off and online.

Some products will work better then others, but you’ll also learn
what does work and what does not work for your own body. When you get
the right combination you’ll experience positive changes you’ll also
    notice your attitude greatly improving.

    All/Best,
    Dan
