Cutanix is no longer made

Cutanix worked great for me but I found out it is no longer
manufactured. Does anyone know of a good replacement?

I believe the active ingredient in DRL can be found and purchased from
    this site: www.skinactives.com

I did not see the active ingredient there Quadrinone
at that site. Let me know if I missed it.
I am in the same boat. I have used the Cutanix DRL product for
several years and had cleared up my SD completely. Now I am back to
trying a variety of products. Right now I am trying Tea tree oil mixed
with jojoba. I am only on day two and really flared up so I will give
it some time. I know the quadrinone comes from nut oils. So that may
be where I try next, like some almond oil or extract.

    I am very frustrated.

I found the link that the other poster was mentioning. I am going to
order some and will post about results. Here it is.

4-Ethoxybenzaldehyde is the same active ingredient that was in
Cutanix. If you google 4-Ethoxybenzaldehyde you will find links to
    Cutanix.

I did receive the package from skinactives.com on friday. I started
treatment with the chemical below mixed with the canvas base. I am
very irritated, so the mix has been irritating me. I am seeing
improvement though. I recall that teh Cutanix DRL would burn
similarly when I had gotten really bad.

Today was the first day in two weeks, I did not peel.. and I did not
start to feel the burning skin.

I will keep you posted, but I think this prodcut mix will work and it
    will be MUCH cheaper.

Thanks for pointing the way… I am SO appreciative..

    > I ordered the same active ingredient…but should I have also ordered

Yes, you need to add the active ingredient to a cream or something.
They recommend the 4 fl ounce Canvas base or a kelp product adding 1/2
of the product… I think it said the Canvas base you could add the
vial to the 4 ounce and it would make a 1% solution. The product needs
to be cut down, it is just the one ingredient. Maybe you have a cream
at home that you can add it too that does not bother your skin. Just
try to watch how much you add. It is a strong product all by itself.
They sent me droppers and mixing paddles with my order.

I oredered the product.. all by itself, just like you did, but realized
after I revisited the site that it needed a delivery cream. It is not

    the easiest site to negotiate.

The canvas base I received was non - irritating to my skin. I get
irritated by most products; no breakouts caused. It was 6.50 for 4
oz. I am very happy with the price. It will be under 15 dollars for
more than twice the volume of Cutanix DRL at 40 plus.

My skin continues to be improving. I have had no peeling. I do get
burning when I put it on and mid day I feel redness in my skin and some
irritation. This may go away once I get a week out.

Please post how it goes for you.
I am also trying their rosecea product.

    karin-

thanks for the encouraging words. I added it to DHS cream and so far
so good. It has only been a few days and was a little irritating, but
it is good to hear it was all good for you after one week.

-I was having some flaking, and irritation after posting that, but I
had added the SKIN ACTIVES Rosacea product to my daily regime. I was
moving too fast. I went back to my metrogel and I am now 100% ok. I
get over zealous when I think one thing works, heck try something
else. I also added some tea tree oil to the mix, cause I already had
it and it was on the DRL list. In the long run, if we can perfect it
through this company, it will be tons cheaper!!

One recomendation, write to SkinActives.com contacts, they are very
helpful to your particular situation. Glad to hear back from you.
