It ain't no god's gift to man. Aquaphor is better, but I like non-petroleum
ointments the best. Lotions and creams just make me worse.

Ahhhh americano cetaphil. Thats no good!! O well I hope someone in
the UK can help. Thanks for responding.

I posted a few weeks back ref drinking my own urine.

I've been doing it twice a day for exactly 1 month. My skin integrity
seems to have improved and its coincided with cider vinegar (full
strength) not burning so much and a general upturn.

I'm gonna do a proper feedback post in a month's time so I can be a
bit more sure of the progress. I would however encourage people to do
a search on urine therapy although i'm not as yet gonna stomp my feet
about it.

I am however continuing to stomp my feet about cider vinegar.

Elidel is one of the worse things ive tried, it works for a while i
guess is because it is for psoriasis. this is my top 5

1. apple cider vinegar: i use one from the supermarket since i
couldnt find the acv with mother. I dont follow the others group
methods to the t, i use my own my skin cant handle 100% pure vinager
i dilute it 1 part vinager 8 parts water and works fine. This is the
best thing ive found and ive tried almost everything.

2. Vitamin E gel caps: i use it as a mosturizer cause the acv after a
while gets your skin very dry and you'll need a mosturizer. But ive
found that if you use in a cold place instead of helping makes it
worse. Put some vitamin gel for 1 hour or so after using the vinager.

3. Aloe Vera pulp: i have a tree of aloe vera and im using this from
<!--more-->
about three days, i see some results, defenetly does some good effect
on the sd. ill post later if it works.

4. .... i dont have anything else to add to the list, those are the
best thing ive found so far. ill post all the things ive tried and
didt work or just didnt work as well as these three. ive tried
cortisones (steroid creams), elidel, protopic, ketoconazol, Head and
shoulders, rosac, eucerin products, yogurt, almost all the oils u can
find, batrafen (antifungus), etc.

When you say 'soap: not a specific brand, liquid soap with cocamido propyl
betaine
milk with pH on the 3.5 ~ 4.5 range'

Where can I get this kind of soap and what brand or name is it called?

.
> Use this to wash your face neck and ear region

Hi Kev
I don't know about cancer but it does cause damage to the skin over time and can
lead to other skin conditions (rosacea, broken blood vessels etc). Most of the
people on here are seeking alternatives to steroids and rightly so. 2.5% is
quite a high concentration and I would strongly suggest that you attempt to ease
yourself off it and seek a longer term solution.
<!--more-->

SQUEAMISH PEEPS LOOK AWAY NOW!! - Mad as it sounds i'm 2 weeks into testing out
urine therapy (a glass of my own amber nectar am and pm), in adition to my cider
vinegar routine (see previous posts). If anyone can pluck up the courage -
google it. I think I'm seeing some improvements in facial skin integrity but am
giving it 2 more weeks before I feedback on here, Wee Simon

Here are my Top 5 Seb Derm Tips:
1. Use Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment Shampoo a couple of
times a week. Leave on for a few minutes and allow it to wash over
your face too.
2. Vitamin B5. It works for me. Reduces oil and redness. Check it out
at vilantae.com
3. Boswellia serrata. It's a supplement. Reduces oil and redness.
Available at most health food stores.
4. Purpose moisturizer.
5. Electric shaver. Much better than blades and shaving cream.

Happy New Year to all on the list. This list has helped me immensely
and I hope it's done or will do the same for you.

Following your lead i will post my top list; however
i'm in trouble to fill all 5 places, since i've
achieved great stability of my SD with just two; a
liquid soap and a shampoo:

shampoo: node DS from bio derma. This is a shampoo
specifically for "itchy and scuameous state of the
scalp" as announced in the case, i use this every two
or three days and i forget i have SD.

soap: not a specific brand, liquid soap with cocamido
propyl betaine milk with pH on the 3.5 ~ 4.5 range.
Use this to wash your face neck and ear region
