My nose
I have sd on and around my nose. It flares up every so often. I am in
the middle of a flare up right now. I have red flaky skin. I have
big meetings this weekend and next week and am looking for something,
anything to improve the way my face looks asap. I am using
ketoconazole right now but it isnt doing much. Any advice will be well
taken. Thanks.

Try using pure aloe off the plant if possible. Apply to your nose,
leave on for 6-8 hours. Repeat for a couple days should help. Some
times I cut open the leaf and apply the whole leaf , gooey side on
skin. Overnight it sometimes works wonders.

DO NOT USE ELOCON on your face! I was useing it because it was the
only thing that helped, but it ended up causing rosacea and broke
blood vessels in my face!!!
I had extremely bad SD, and rosacea… but it is 100% gone. I have
not had a flare up since a couple weeks before Halloween. I know
many of ya’ll are against topical ointments and antibiotics, but it
has completely helped me!
-At first I was appling PLEXION (Sulfacetamide Sodium/Sulfur)
to my face once in the morning and then again at bed time.
-in addition to the plexion, I was prescribed DORYX 75mg. to
take once daily. The doctor also gave me a steriod shot to give the
antibiotics a chance to kick in.
I SAW RESULTS THE VERY NEXT DAY, but they sort of returned as the
steriod wore off a few days later, but once the pills kicked in…
it only took a week to clear up!
I took the pills every day for one month and applied the plexion
twice a day. Now, two months later, I take one pill once a week, and
apply the plexion maybe two or three times a week just as a
precaution. My face is 100% perfect again, and you can’t even tell
that I have SD or rosacea. I am extremely pleased with my results,
and hope my method works for someone else…
