Thanks for the quick feedback

Elizabeth and Wendy, Thanks for the quick response to
my questions.
Whew! What a relief to hear that I’m not the only
person in the whole world with these eye lid sores.
It feels so helpless being alone in our suffering, but
so safe in being with others who understand. You
confirmed for me what I was already feeling, that
contrary to what the PA said at the derms office, that
it’s the Seb Derm and not my Rosacea that is doing
this on my eyes. As soon as I left the docs office
with all those creams and pills she gave me, the first
thing I thought was that I needed to go to the message
boards and ask my questions there, because it seems
more often than not that those who suffer with me have
better answers than those damn doctors who seem so

free about handing out diagnosis that just don’t ring
true. I’m just beginning my second winter with SD so I
had forgotten that is does get worse in winter, and
now that I think back, I was having fits with this SD
at this time last year, and I guess when I got
somewhat better during the summer I just figured that
it was over. Ha! I will give more attention to my
diet, I didn’t realize how much that might effect my
condition.
I’m willing to do anything to ease my suffering. Again…THANKS!

Bernadette, the eyelid thing is common in sebderm, they call it
blepharitis. They say put shampoo on your eyelids. I say that is a
load of crap. Maybe yogurt would help?

Karla, use the Internet and you will find all the information you
    want.

Sugar and carbs are some of the main things to avoid, but there are
many others. Also, drinking lots of water and eating lots of fresh
healthy veggies and other foods helps. It can’t be bad for you, but
might be hard to do at this time of year!

    Good luck!!!
