Sunlights for SD?

Hi Folks–

i have read and my dermatologist confirmed that UV light helps control
SD. i know in the summer my SD is virtually non-existent the more i
am outside. does anyone use tanning lamps or sunlights to treat their
SD? mine is on my face, so i wanted to see if anyone has any
experience in this before i go off experimenting.

look forward to hearing other people’s stories.

thanks and take care…larry

    Hello everybody,

I guess this is the first time i address this group… but i have
had SD for 7 years now. I keep it in control by 3 ways

First, Pure home-made olive oil soap, twice a day.
Second, Quadriderm (cortizone) thrice a week
Third, sunlight (i live in Kuwait currently and it’s helping)

Everything’s basically under control except for some cystic acne
    bumps.

Thanks and i appreciate everything this group has posted.

UV apparently does something because my derm use to give me UV glasses
and have me stand in an UV chamber. They also prescribed me
hydrocortisone (spelling) lotion 2% at the same time. I dont know how
much youre supposed to expose yourself to or what the intensity should
be. I wouldnt do it myself though.
