Yes. It stings initially but after the skin heals It will subside. I
keep my hair short so I can manage the scalp scabbing and flaking. I
got everything saturday and used it the day after. Here is the stuff
im using.

The soap is expensive so I wont be using every day, I'll use the zinc
soap on odd days, I use a glycerin soap called "Pears soap", very
pleasant and gentle. The cream is OK, I apply a thin layer and it
lasts throughout the day. I still occasionally use an oily moisturizer
called shea butter, its very oily and I dont think it does anything
for my SD, I've been using it as my primary moisturizer for a while
now, it works well but the stuff I buy isnt unrefined like the seller
claims it is. Still searching for the right moisturizer. I will let
you guys know how it is coming
along. This stuff is VERY expensive but I'll try about anything to get
<!--more-->
my SD under control. My scalp causes the most problems.

Did you start using it? I started about a week ago and I definitely
notice a difference.

The ZNP is a little drying, though, so I'm thinking I may try to start
working in a cleanser/lotion into my regimen and try to cut down on
the ZNP to a maintenance level and to fight flareups.

I'm thinking about either Cetaphil or Aveeno.

It has worked for me in the past. I'm thinking of trying it again.

Let me know how it works for you.

Also, I think if anyone has problem with hard water or chlorine in
their shower water, you can try softening or reducing the chlorine,
this helps prevent dry skin too.
