green tea extract

Tuesday, February 27th, 2007

hello,

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the green tea
cream that dr syed makes. The Dr seems genuine, he emails you
promptly and will even call you. I have sent him photos and he is
confident he can tailor the cream for my seb derm needs. I have a
little rosacea as well from steriod cream usuage.

So Im on the verge of ordering this stuff, which is quite expensive.
I’ve been using nizoral cream as a mainstay which works to a degree.
Unfortunately I think it has trouble penertrating the areas that had
the most steriod cream applied over the years.

I would really love to hear how people have gone with it. I’ve read
numerous posts on different forums and there is mixed results. Some

New Story…

Friday, February 23rd, 2007

Hey all. I need some advice. I have been reading posts for the past 5
years but have never really posted my own. A little backround on me. I
developed sebderm about 5 years ago. I didnt know what it was at
first, but after hours of research I finally diagnosed myself. I had
all the classic symptoms. Redness, flaking, dryness. It was never
really that bad. The redness was only on the sides on my nose, and the
flakes were everywhere, but were always washed off in the mornings
after my shower. Even though it was mild, I still develpoed an
obsession with it. I am pretty sure it was caused by my long term use
of Retin-A for acne in my teenage years. I used this stuff for
literally 5 years, never missing a night. The sebderm came up a week
after I stopped using the Retin-A. I stopped due to insurance
purposes. This lasted about 6 months and finally cleared on its own. I
went 2 years without any symptoms. I just figured my skin had worked
itself back to normal. I never even thought about it untill about a

Treating seb derm

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007

Guys,

I’ve had seb derm and I think I have some roscacea thrown in to
really make it difficult. Im constantly looking for a product that
can work and not have nasty side effects. Steriod creams and elidel
used for long periods caused me all sorts of issues after using that
gear for around 5 years. I went cold turkey a year ago and flared
like you wouldn’t believe. Get of that crap as soon as you can.

I’ve been using nizoral cream a bit which helps but dosen’t get rid
of it completely. I was thinking of trying cutanix which I’ve heard
some good things about. I have also ordered rosacea ltd 3, which can
have benefits for both seb derm and rosacea. I’ve done the apple
cider vinegar thing which helped but I couldn’t stick to the
stringent diet. It just seems that no one thing works for everybody,

he never heard of it has anyone used nizoral cream for seb derm on the
face??

Does anyone know??

Hi, my name is Lisa. I was informed by my doctor three or so weeks
ago that I have SD. I have had it since June of this year, and up
until my recent doctors appointment, I was treating it as acne.
Anyway, my question is, after the flair up is gone… does the
redness go away? I am using Elidel cream, and I no longer have any
bumps, but light redness is still visiable. My SD is in the crease
of my nose on both sides. The skin is red and almost leather like. I
have been steaming my face every other night, which may be helping.
In doing so I noticed that I do not have any pores on the
problematic areas, and all of the "pear fuzz" hair is no longer on
that portion of my face. Do these things get better?

Oh, and one other question… has anyone here used Proactive
Solutions?? I have a feeling that my SD was cause by using it. I
never had any facial problems, and for some reason I decided to use

seabuckthorn update2

Monday, February 12th, 2007

Hi everyone,

It’s been 5 weeks now since I started using a soap and face cream
containing seabuckthorn oil to clear up the sd on my face. Well, it’s
still working. My husband and i are still pretty surprised that this
has worked so well. When I bought these products we thought it was
something that would just help with the redness and to our surprised
it totally cleared up the sd. I continue to use it twice a day on my
face but occasionally only use it once a day.
