Newbie here-Sorry it took so long to introduce myself!
Thanks to the moderator for emailing me to get off my
butt and post instead of lurk. I apologize, I think I
signed up a couple months ago, but got you mixed up in
my links with the Sub Derm site about apple cider
vinegar which didn’t get my attention so I lost your
link. I really do want to be a part of this board, so
please give me time to read more back posts and to
tell you all about my story. I have a lot of
questions, but want to read through a few pages of
posts before blasting off with a bunch of questions.
My name is Roxanne, I’m 51 and live in N. Calif. I
was blessed my whole life with near perfect skin, and
probably took it for granted until I turned 50 and all
hell broke loose on my face. After a year of seeing
docs being tested for Lupus, Sclerederma, and every
other scary auto immune disorder they finally rested
on a diagnosis of Rosacea complicated by a bad case of
Sub Derm. I’m learning to live with the constant
blazing red face, but the itchy, scaly, stuff going on
around my hairline, eyebrows and nose is really
causing me a lot of suffering. My eyebrows have
almost completely fallen out, and my hair is thinning
around my forehead. My derm gave me a script for
Nitrozol and said this would cure it for good, but
after about 5 applications I’m still itching and
flaking. I look forward to reading past posts and
asking you all some questions I have about living with
this thing.
Be back soon. Roxanne Bernadette
