hi i was just wondering if any women on here find that their seb derm
flares around their period or before their period??

to this
question, my SD began with menopause, so it’s for sure infulenced by hormones.
I’m now
on hormone replacement therapy and I’m a little better, at least not progressing
any more.

Is it possible that SD can be caused by hormones? I’m 19 and have had
SD on my scalp since I was 13 which causes extreme itchyness. I don’t
know if it’s a coincidence or not but it started just under 2 months
before I hit puberty. I’ve been thinking about going to an
endocrinologist but I’m unsure. Is it possible that a hormone
inbalance etc. could cause/add to the problem?
