spicy foods and seb derm.

I was wondering if spicy foods could trigger seb derm? I have a love
of spicy Thai foods and hot mexican foods and was told by my GP that
spicy foods could inflame the seb derm.

Anybody else heard this?

Also, I am using a 1% strength steroid cream at present to control my
inflamation, with this low potency could I be doing long term damage
to my skin?

The cream I am using can be found at: www.hydrozole.com.au

Mike.

I had a really hot Thai red curry just last week and a few days
later my face exploded into a red inflammed mess! I did not do
anything out of the ordinary except eat this curry that obviously
    reacted to my condition.
