Pimples with no white heads..
Rob,
I get the pimples with no white heads. I also got a small oval "pit"
(for lack of a better word) that resembles the scars left if you
scratch chicken pox. It’s on the side of my nose, and seems to be
here to stay.
I had horrific burning this morning after treating my mustache with
T-Gel last night. I won’t do that again! The left side of my
mustache seems to have more scales/burning than the right side. I
sleep on my left side though, and I suspect the pressure on the skin
at night is the culprit. Humans are most comfortable sleeping on the
left side according to doctors, as our organs are situated in such a
way that the left side is the best for sleeping on. I have sleep
apnea (spelling?), and it is much better when sleeping on my side. I
also snore less on my side. So . . .I really don’t want to start
sleeping on my back just to aleve some of the pressure on the side
of my face that seems to be irritating the SD.
And to think I never had to deal with this crappy stuff until 3 mths
ago (I’m 42 yrs old).
I’ve cut back to one diet pop a day, as I’ve heard that soda
(caffeine) is very bad for SD.
It’s now creeping up inside my nose and causing bad burning. This
really sucks. I am trying to cut down on stress in my life, but as
you know, that is sometimes easier said than done.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!

And Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Jane,
I’m 59 yrs old and did not get SD until I was 55. As a baby, I had
cadle cap and was born with a rash. From 10 months old until I was
55 I had great skin, Then POW! What caused my flare-ups? Stress.
With that said, are you aware that soft drinks have 9 tablespoons of
sugar in them? A diet drink uses artifical sugar equal or more to 9
tablespoons of sugar. That much sugar is affecting your nervous
system, and that’s what’s bringing out your flare-ups.
