Sun seems to help me, but I'd be really careful with the sweat. I feel
the sting from sweat almost immediately, then my condition is a
nightmare for the next 4 days.

Sun is my current method of control...that, and moisturizer. Not
everyone w/this condition can use that, though, because of the
breakouts. I put Carmex all over my perioral region each night before
bed -- contains salicylic acid & menthol in an emollient base. Seems
to help a little, but ultimately, if I'm not in the sun for a day, I
start to get red & irritated. So I'm trading sebderm today for
wrinkles later -- but at least I can get the wrinkles lasered off :)

Sadly, nothing works like Protopic.

I am having some success with taking some pills i got in holland and
barret. They are a maximum (and then some) dose of Selenium, Vit
A,C,E and Zinc. You take a couple of pills a day. Its got something
lilike 1800% vit C and 1800% vit E in a pill. I'll keep at it with
them. And of course the Flax seed pills.

I used Threelac and a strict diet of no sweets for 3 months till May
and i had reasonable results with that. But the Threelac is to
expensive to justify the results for me. Something like £30 per 2-3
weeks.

i to had good success with protopic but am trying hard to avoid it. the one
thing that seems to work is sweating and sun. a really serious workout that gets
you sweating and in the sun. i guess the benifit of burning through stress helps
as well. + b complex vitamins, flax seed oil supplements and probiotics. if you
can get yourself to a clear (somewhat) point than start working out. i only wish
i could work out more often. one thing for sure...stress seems to trigger it for
me.
