I want to know how many ppl feel they have controlled
it. Just to know if im particularly lucky or if
everyone or most ppl eventually finds their balance

What do you mean by "control"? Is it totally control sd without
flares or you know, a longer remission but still get it once in a
while?
I still get it once a month. How abt you?

I mean with "control" when you feel your SD is no
longer considered a problem. At this moment, i get
flares only when i spend more than two or three weeks
without using my SD shampoo (node DS from bio derma).
As long as i keep using them regularly (three times a
week the shampoo, once a day the soap, or whenever i
sweat profusely or get exposed to too much dust). In
this sense i think my SD is "controlled".
However, in periods when im exposed to lots of
sunlight the SD behaviour becomes more irregular. I
can use normal sun lotions in the face but for brief
periods (less than a week) after which i must stop or
else the high flare phase becomes unavoidable. I used
to use a sun lotion called fotoMax 100 which reduced
the skin reaction but only as a last resource.
cheers
