hello all,
i am going through a flare up after a period of relative calm…my skin is never
perfect…used to be then it all went to hell about 3 to 4 years ago. my
question…is what i have actually sd? i have been to about 4 dermos and 2
regular docs. between them all i have been told…sd, atopic eczema, contact
dermititis, and i few i don’t remember. they have said it has nothing to do with
diet, stress. sun is good…sun is bad. i am begining to unwind. so, seems
people with sd say that their skin is very oily. my is really dry. i know my
scalp has sd, i have eczema on my arms legs and hands but my face? what i do get
is red dry raised itchy patches that at times weep on my cheeks, side of nose,
forehear and brow. protopic was the only thing that worked, but i don’t feel
like getting cancer nor do i want to be married to a drug for ever. i hope that
someone can at least give me their take on the "classic" sd symptoms. i just
need to know is it sd or eczema?
I was just replying to an accusation "shadowsurfer". If only you
listened to my advice and inaddition get a sense of humour, cause I’m
afraid your dermatologist can’t perscribe one, but I sense It would
help you.James
ha ha. Yeah your right I’m the vinegar man and if it wasn’t for you
pesky kids I would of got away with it. Yeah I’m a little bit
conraditory but hey most people are if they don’t have a set agenda
and are just chewing the fat and finding out things as I go along
with different treatments. In my defense actually I only said it was
a cure in the sense that I found my symptoms were held back but not
really a cure in classic sense of no symptoms after stopping the stuff
(and I did say that), look again Colombo.James
And why do I continue when I tried to stop posting?Cause I miss
talking to you buddy boy!
Sorry to hear it isn’t working for you Dustie? but I did have my face
flushing a bit after spraying it on but only maybe 10 mionutes at
first. I’m surprised you found it greasy as most of it absorbs into
the skin in my experience. I’m not discounting your experience but
the question I had was the skin still flaking off at the same kind of
rate or hopefully at all. Cause The benefit to me has been that my
skin has started to heal and have an integrity I have never had
before. My point is if it wasn’t flaking then you shopuld of
continued with it to see if and how much your skin healed and builded
up. I make no claims this is a cure for everyone I just don’t
understand why it isn’t having the same success as I personally have
experienced.
Another question regaring amount of use out of one bottle. It varies
on how much you spray and I’ve yet to buy a more economical larger
(more…)
Thanks Jen,
I just am a bit evagelical about suffererss trying this product
because "for me" it really has been a life saver.I look forward to
yor report back soon. James
Surely the cancer risk of protopic is another reason for sufferers to
use natural products like Salcura, and to try it, as yet this forum
is yet to really try it. Quite frankly I don’t know why not.james
I think it’s not new that it is known that these might carry a cancer
risk, however that risk maybe is higher than what they previously
thought? Just saw this article:
Not good news for those of us who have seemed to find these to be the
only thing that helps.
Hey ACV users!
I have tried several shampoos to eliminate my dandruff, but one things
seems to work then it stops working all together. I have been
following some of the posts from time to time, but am curious about
using ACV on the scalp. How much do you use? How many times a week? Is
there any negative reaction to either the scalp or the face when you
initially try it?
Thanks
Sonia
