Probiotics
Hey!
I remember someone in this forum mentioned that he was taking
Probiotics and I wondered if it works. I read in this article (about
Eczema) that people believe Probiotics reduces imflammation of the
skin (due to increasing "good" bacteria in our system). Has anyone who
is takings this or knows something about this topic enlighten me.
Good/bad/does nothing?
Cheers,
Sonia

hello,
i have been taking probiotic, flax seed oil, b complex and a product called
moducare. moducare is a plant sterol/sterin supplement intended to regulate your
immune system. either overactive as in autoimmune disorders or compromised.
since i have been taking this mix for about 4/5month things have gotten better.
i still use protopic…sparingly only in emergencies. recently i feel my skin is
getting back to the texture and color i have not seen in years. not sure which
is working or it’s the combo. there are other benifits of this combination other
than for skin so why not. i really think it does help. again, recently my skin
is looking pretty good. from what i understand is does take some time to get
your system used/functioning with it all.

Thanks for the reply
What type of probiotic are you using? I think there are two on the
market so I was just wondering which one you are using. Also, what is
b complex (cream or other) as well as moducare. Just interested in
what other people are using. My main concern is to get off medications
completely and start on a more natural path to solving my SD problem.
I really don’t want to wake up 10 years from now with so many horrible
side effects from taking so many different medications. Its all very
frustrating trying to find the right one (regime) if you know what I mean.
Thanks a lot for the information,
Cheerio

Sonia,
well, i live i the mid atlantic of the USA. here we have a shope callede the
vitamin shoppe. i use their "ultimate probiotic 10(carries a bunch of benificial
bacteria) B-complex 50(all the major b’s, biotin and folic acid, flax seed oil
1000mg. as for moducare, it is it’s own supplement. you may want to google
anything of what i just wrote, something should come up. i like you want to go
as natural as possible. all the creams, lotions and the rest from the pharmacy
will hurt you once their down helping. so good luck, do what ever rerearch you
can. again, all these vitamins/supplements from what i understand can only help
your SD and te rest of you.
cheers,

From what I understand, it’s one of the most powerful and high quality
probiotics on the market today.
