thanks for the suggestion
Hi James
thanks for the advice. I just wanted to say that I wish I wasn’t on
any kind of medication for my SD problem, but it really can’t be
helped. I’ve tried so many different medications that haven’t worked
which have been difficult. Accutane is the only medication that has
really helped. I made a difficult decision . . . and its not
something I take lightly. It was either be selfconscious about the
SD or be confident and back to my "old self" while being on the
medication. I am aware that it may not last long (i.e. a couple of
months and if I’m lucky a year or years), but I’m just trying to
wait out the SD hoping that each year that goes by will mean new
breakthroughs in SD medications or until my skin can return to its
orginal texture. But that is why this site is so helpful, however,
what works on one person may not work on another. It’s just a
gamble. Anyway I was just curious James about your experience on
Accutane. What did you mean by being off it as soon as I can? I’m
hoping that since I’m taking a low dose that I will not experience
any big post-accutane side effects. What did you experiece after
being off of Accutane? Are your sypmtoms any better after being on
Accutance or has the SD returned just like the pre-accutane days?
Cheers,
Sonia
