Please realise I really appreciate your confirmation of Links with
Candida it’s just I don’t want them to distract from the strong
statments I’m making. I don’t think it is just linked but it is the
sole cause.And I’m not suggesting control but actual cure. I also
after researching on the net Candida that there are many diets and
herbs, and even probiotics that are used to control the condition but
they talk of and are seen as slow programs that must be kept to over
many weeks and months.. But in the world of Candida treatment this
product is unique in that it literally zaps it, with no special diet
other than advice to go easy on sugar. So far I haven’t altered my
diet one bit and the stuff is having dramatic affects after a few
days, In fact I noticed it was working in first 24 hours.Again I’m not

hi all,

I’ve had a really roller coaster christmas. Seb derm was worse than
ever as it always is over cold months. I posted that I was waiting for
some Threelac and after loads of research that linked candida to
sebderm was hopeful, but i’ve tried everything in the book, I mean
everything. I deeply feel for all you guys on this site, I know the
pain this condition causes, how it has ruined my twenties to some
extent. So please while I’ve just poped up on your site, please give
my recent experiences a chance. The amount of times I have desperately
looked for answers to this condition I have run across countless
people who want to give snake oil cures, ultimately to take advantage
financially of our suffering. I’ve had soaps that literally claimed
divine origin which I have believed as I am a christian working as a
missionary. But again their claims have for me been false. I do

I’m flying to London on 7th [tommorow] and i will be there for a week
[my first time in london :)]. i just wanted to ask if there is
somebody on the board that would like to spend some time with me

I want to wish everyone on the list a very happy new year. Perhaps
2005 will be the year that we all defeat seb derm. That may be a bit
optimistic, but we can at least count on eachother for care and

Just thought i would include the fact that what has worked for me
though can still be slightly itchy is washing with just water. You
need to stick with it for a week at least, gently rubbing any flakes
with a wash cloth or hands. Only use cool water. The pores get
blocked up which is i think the reason why it helps. You face becomes
less oily and therefore less yeasts get to the skin. Sleep is also a
big factor, try to get a good 8 hours.Has anyone used b5 with any

I am waiting to recieve threelac in the post. It is a powerful pro-
biotic which gets the good bacteria past the stomach acids to the
intestine where they apparantly eat candida. I think that candida and
it’s effects on immunity must be a factor in this damn condition.
It’s not a coincidence that lowing sugars and carbs have an effect on
sebderm as candida feed and grow on these. I will try it for a month
and report back. Though would be interested in others experience in
this area.james

I’m sort of new. I’ve been on this site as a different e-mail, ended
membership as sick of post in mail box. Thought i had to mention acne
tabs which are a herbal accutane. I’m not a saleman i’m just in the
uk and want to know if anyone has seriously tried them. If they do
what they claim then they must be worth trying, ie reduces sebum and
is antibiotic. Pllease someone try them as in the us you have access
to them easy. I don’t have a visa card so can’t get them at

Hi, my name is Terry, I live in Seattle area and I suffer from
seb/derm.. Have had it for 15 yrs,,Usual story several
dermatologists, different creams, lotions, misdiagnosis etc…
Went to new derm 10 months ago and she said it was acne/rosacea and
reccommended candela smoothbeam laser with levulan; said it would
reduce sebum glands…@ $450.00 a pop, which insurance doesn’t
cover…
What a mistake it was for me to go ahead with it, i had 3 treatments
with levulan done 3 weeks apart and after 1st treatment she said a
little redness was normal and that it would fade… wrong, my face
ended up flaming red and extreme dryness, each subsequent treatment
got worse as far as redness and dryness and flaking..It,s been 8
months with no improvement whatsoever… If you are considering it
ask questions and possible side effects..

treatment of seborrheic dermatitis. There are several new
prescription-based cleansers and topicals specifically designed for
seborrheic dermatitis.

There are several goals to these treatments:

1. Remove superficial crusting and flakes
2. Clear pores of hardened sebum, follicular hyperkeratinization,
and cellular debris
3. Treat yeast and bacteria within the pore
4. Decrease erythema (facial redness) caused by seborrheic
dermatitis
5. Decrease extremely sensitive skin that is a common byproduct of

Here’s a post from Dr. Nase on some new studies of antibiotics that
seem to have stronger anti-inflammatory effects than tetracycline,
etc.
Dr. Nase is an amazing guy. He answers about 10 emails a day on the
rosacea list, plus many more privately. He gives so much of his time
to helping people with rosacea. He has advice for us sebdermers too.
