beware vinegar man
Dear forum,
I expect the people who started this group are aware, but there is
this dodgy guy who runs a site and a sister group pushing a brand of
vinegar like some kind of soup Nazi, the guy is an asshole. He threw
me off the group for just suggesting other treatments other than his
brand of vinegar. He obviously is trying to make a buck. Vinegar does
have an effect due to it’s anti fungal properties , but really as a
treatment it has very little long term merit. The guy is probably
changing e-mail addressess to enter this site, I may be wrong but
anyone who trys to drag peolple off to the acv site or sister support
group is probably him. He will now rant againt this mail. Bad time to
repeat my success but am still finding clearnace on salcura, please
somebody try it, I may evev gaurantee it for someone to try, cause
I’m that confident it’s the best thing for this condition. As God is
my witness.james
ps and if you are the guy from the site and I’m pretty sure you are,
then how do you look yourself in the mirror, your way beyond pathetic.

What can I say James? How can I begin to respond to such an immature
and irresponsible post? My heart tells me to ignore your pathetic
monologue but my conscience won’t let it go, since sincere SD
sufferers should not be biased by such crap. I think it would be
best for Seborrheic Dermatitis sufferers worldwide if you keep your
ill informed opinions to yourself.
You obviously have no idea what he is about. If you read any of the
posts you would know he strongly advocates using any brand of Vinegar
rather than ruin you face with chemicals, you are very naive to think
he is trying to push a brand or make a buck.
I genuinely credit this guy with saving my life. I was extremely
depressed and having terrible thoughts, contemplating how to live
with persistent SD. He guided me through the ACV self treatment and
changed my life forever. Yes, he can be a Nazi and I’ve told him
that… Yes, the forum is heavily moderated and I have issues with
that
too. But had he not come down hard on me I would had given up on
vinegar straight away and not have the very happy life I enjoy today.
How many people do you know that have used ACV long term? None, I
expect since you are obviously not in favour of this treatment. For
your information, I have not used ANY chemical products on my face or
scalp since January 2004, when I started using ACV. I have not had
to use ACV since December 2004. I’m talking total clearing, no
itching, no flakes, no redness, nothing. I don’t know your
definition of long term, but I have never in the past ten years gone
for so long without SD symptoms or applying products. I would be
more than happy to report back to you in twelve months or ten years
time to confirm that my SD has remained in remission, because I have
no doubt this will be true!
Whatever. I’m sure he has more do to in life than covertly enter
other groups with the intent of dragging members across, as do I. So
if you can’t recognise genuine support when you see it, that’s your
problem.
> He will now rant againt this mail
I’m sure he would, but let me do it on his behalf
Looks like someone’s trying to push their own agenda…don’t suppose
you have an interest in Salcura? But I guess it’s ok for you to be
passionate about YOUR preferred treatment isn’t it? Have you ever
done any long term tests on Salcura products, what’s the difference?
Obviously I am not ‘that guy’, that much is clear. As for looking at
myself in mirror… THAT IS NOW THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY!
I would enjoy the opportunity to discuss my clearing with anyone who
is interested, just e-mail me directly or leave a post. James, for
the sake of all please do not bother to respond to this post, this
forum is not place for petty arguments. Email me direct with your
comment or better still just keep your opinion to yourself unless you
are able to add value to the group discussion.
My regards and best wishes to all the genuine people in this forum,
who are willing to freely exchange ideas and treatments,
Scott

hi everyone,
i totally agree with what Scott wrote. the moderator does seem like
the professional soup nazi (and i have problems with the way his forum
runs as well), but after being a member there for a long time now, i
realise why, its because he has to deal with idiots like you who do
not listen to what he is tring to say, james. james what is going to
be the cure for seborrheic dermatitis next week? bible studies.

Well,
Here I am all chewed up with a scabbed red face like someone with
leprosy. I appreciate everyone’s concern here, but I’m beginning to
wonder if I’m doing the right think.
As for the other group that advocates the vinegar treatment. Well,
the program might very well be a cure for many but the forum in
which the group is run, STINKS! Reason, I joined and am already into
treating myself with a 6% acidic ACV and am having severe reactions
from this. I posted now three messages to that forum, that I’m sure
must go through their POS moderator in search of help. NO RESPONSE
and further more, my post has not shown up after going on three days
now???? So obviously these people have no intentions of helping a
fellow SD sufferer out. It’s obvious this person has their own
agenda at stake. Meanwhile, I’m off here with a chewed up fruitcake
face heading into no man’s land on a journey that will end in a
place I’m not sure I want to be!
Okay, so my question now to anyone who has used this therapy is.
I’m sitting here with a red spotty face, the red spots are starting
to show signs of becoming scab like. IS THIS TO BE EXPECTED OR DO I
NEED TO RUN TO MY LOCAL DERMATOLIGIST YELLING HELP? If I had to
guess, I would say the face will continue to scab and the new skin
will form, or I might end up looking like a freak for the rest of my
life. Please someone, which is it going to be, anyone?
My method so far has been four days of dousing my head and I mean
drenching it, and three times per day applying straight 6% organic
ACV to my face. I skipped the diluted portion.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

hi Kevin,
i would stop using acv for the time being and let your face settle
down for a few days.
the other group recommends acv 5% acidity so 6 % may be too strong
in cases similar to yours they generally recommend (people that have a
reaction) to try using 50/50 distilled water/acv
i dont know why your posts havent shown up, but they are pretty strict
on your case history with your history of sd and whatever you have
used on your sd in the past.
Question(Okay, so my question now to anyone who has used this therapy
is. I’m sitting here with a red spotty face, the red spots are
starting to show signs of becoming scab like. IS THIS TO BE EXPECTED
OR DO I NEED TO RUN TO MY LOCAL DERMATOLIGIST YELLING HELP)
Answer : i dont think you have to run to the derm just yet, just stop
the acv and your sd reation should settle.

I remember posting to the Vingear Man’s website once, that actually the
Vinegar was working, but in between vinegar applications I would use a bit
of Desowen because the vinegar was too strong for my face to use
daily–well, he edited out of my post the part about the desowen to make it
look like I was getting all the success from the vinegar alone. I then
realized he was a stalinist.
I have no idea what the guy’s agenda is, as vinegar is pretty cheap–he
probably is going to write a book and charge people for it, and then use all
of is little indoctrinated posters as examples of the success, problem is,
that most SD sufferers have very sensitive skin and the vinegar is not a
long term solution–I think it works pretty good on the scalp, but scalp
skin is a lot less sensitive than the eye or nose area of the skin.
For the guy currently having problems with the vingear–stop using until
your skin returns to baseline, and then only try the vinegar again but
dilute it by at least 50% and only try it once or twice a week to see if
your skin can handle it.
