I can totally relate the way seb derm can take over your emotions.
I've been on anti anxiety and/or depression meds in the past
(regularly) but that was before my sebderm. I would have to say
Wellbutrin SR worked the best for me when it came to getting the
anxiety and depression under control (does take 4 to 6 weeks to take
effect). I tried Zoloft but had to many side effects like tremors,
bad dreams, increase in perspiration. I'm sure different ones work
better for different people, much the way our treatments for sebderm
vary person to person.

I do take xanax every once in awhile when my anxiety gets way out of
control and that really relaxes me quickly but I don't make a habit
of it (xanax can be extremely addictive).

I've been thinking about trying yoga. I've heard it's great to relax
the mind.
