I’ve been hit!
Well folks, yesterday I experienced my first V-beam laser treatment,
and now I’m sitting here, all puffy and swollen with some broken
blood vessels here and there and a whole lot poorer, but I’ve finally
taken the first step to real freedom - being able to walk out in the
cold, harsh winter without having to turn bright red, get into a warm
car, eat spicy food etc etc etc. I had about 50 "pulses" done on my
face, each felt like a "spit of fire", but it wasn’t too bad. I layed
down with ice packs on my face for about 20 minuter afterwards and
then got to apply some make-up to be able to get back out on the
street, it was really bad at first, I was dark-purple all over my
face, but that has settled now, just some puffiness. I will be going
back in exactly four weeks to do it all again, it takes at least two
times to get a good result, maybe even up to three times.
Oh yeah, and another thing.. I’ve been eating youghurt and specially
made fruitdrinks (can’t think of a better name) with probiotics in,
and I do think it actully has helped my seb derm. I used to apply DRL
once or twice a week before, in order not to get tiny flakes around
the nose, but I’ve gone without DRL for about a month now, and the
only thing I’ve done different is eating these things with good
bacteria in. No flakes, no nothing.
Back to my ice packs now, I hope you’re all doing well out there!

Hey!
A few more days has passed and oh yeah - it’s working! First of all,
I wash my face every evening before going to bed, and I usually end
up being very red around the nose, but not anymore. And second, fall
has come with those cold winds, and it doesn’t effect me as it used
just a few days ago.
Sure, I still get a bit red, but it’s a big differance. So after my
second and possibly third appointment I really do belive I’m going to
look just fine! Finally!!!

What did u get the VBeam for the ros or the sebderm?

I have both, so I guess for the mixed redness that they both produce,
but it’s the rosacea-thing that has been causing me the most trouble
during the last year or so. My seb derm haven’t been causing me any
trouble at all during the last few months actully, as I wrote
earlier. I don’t even think they treat seb derm with this kind of
laser.
