solar healing

Thursday, May 12th, 2005

It’s the great cancer cover-up. Panicked into avoiding sunlight by
health experts, we are now dying in our thousands from diseases
linked to deficiencies of vitamin D. But still the exaggerated
warnings come.

I personally have been sungazing for about two months now and no
harm has been done to my eyes.

Is redness on the forehead area between the eyebrows more

"The Treatment:

Treating acne with Acne Tab requires the patient to take a regular
dose of the pills until the skin is completely clear of all acne. The
dose is then lowered to a level sufficient to maintain the skin acne
free. The initial course of treatment normally lasts one to two months
by the end of which the patient’s skin should be completely clear of
all signs of acne, including any inflammation, whiteheads and
blackheads.

The primary way in which Acne Tab fights acne is by regulating the
activity of the sebum producing sebaceous glands near the skin
surface. In nearly all acne prone skin conditions, there is an
unnecessarily high level of sebum production by the sebaceous glands.
Consequently, the skin appears as oily and ’sticky’. The small

Hi

Well I am sure this has been probably discussed before but here are
some of my findings. I am suffering from seb-derm for a long time and
I have tried all the creams and stuff that there is out there.
Well lately I have been incoprporation some omega acids in my daily
food regime and starting to notice some positive changes.

I am taking one pill combined of evening primrose oil+vitamin e in
the morning
and 1 spoon of flaxseeds later in the day.

If anyone of you is frustrated with all those so called wonder creams
go with that natural method and incorporate some evening primrose and
flaxseed oils in you daily food regimen and maybe you will be

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil-Control Foaming Cleanser

This could be helpful for people whose seb derm is mostly oily.
I’ve been using this for the past few weeks and it does dry up the
oil well, if only temporarily, without overdrying my skin. You only
have to use a little bit and it foams up into a nice lather. It
smells good, faintly of cucumber, and not too strong. Apparently they
also make a version of it in their Skin Sensitive Solutions line too.
It’s worth a try!

the sun

Thursday, May 5th, 2005

I have a question that’s been with me since I got this damn
disease. The very first time I noticed my seb serm was a trip I took
to the middle east. The first couple of weeks were fine, but one
day, I layed down in the sun and fell asleep, foolishly thinking I
could tan. I woke up about an hour or so later, thought I just had a
case of sunburn, (you can see where this is going), and tried to
moisturize it anyway possbile. This usually involved just splashing
water on face. Well, suffice to say, this "sunburn" has of course,
never gone away, and seven irritating years later, I’m here right now.
Anyway, what I really want to know is the connection between
seb derm and the sun. Has anybody else first developed seb derm
after lying in the sun? Has there been any research on this? If any
of you get sunburned, are the flakes any different from seb serm
flakes? If anybody has any info or experiences with this, let me
know.

Off-topic but interesting to ponder

Sunday, May 1st, 2005

Truth is, this is very much off topic, as there are no comparisons
between cats and people..BUT…

A few years back my home-bound cat began to show all signs of
seborrhea : big flakes of sebum on his coat, scratching and loosing
his hair. I knew nothing could be dangerously wrong with him, as he
does not go out but I finally took him to the vet, who confirmed my
diagnosis. He had no suggestions, but when I got online, a
knowledgeable vet actually suggested changing his food. Apparently,
the food I was feeding him (though more expensive than many other
brands) was full of fillers and, more importantly, carbs. The
suggested brand I could only find at (where else?!) Whole Foods, and
it is mostly meat or fish and vitamins. Well..about two weeks later,
I am seeing an incredible improvement. Whereas before I would have to
take off two handfulls of cat hair off of his favorite chair, now
