Laser

Well folks, that’s it. I can’t take this anymore, so I spoke to a
doctor today who’s speciality is laser treatments and he showed me
pictures of rosacea patients before and after, and we talked a bit
and he could see right away that I do have a form of rosacea. Red
nose and cheeks, which get’s a whole lot worse in cold/hot weather,
if I eat or drink something hot and/or spicy and so on. So I got an
appointment in October for my first treatment, I may need a few more
to get this thing under control, and it’s damn costly, but well worth
it if it should work as good as he explained.

I’m also back on Accutane, 20 mg twice a day to begin with, then I
might take a lower dose.

Winter is coming and I’m already thinking of those cold winter days
when I go to work and get there bright red, well not anymore!!

I’ll let you all know how it works out.

Ciao!

    Hey!

It’s supposed to be a very new kind of treatment, called V-beam.
Maybe someone here has a bit more information?

yes, I have the book as well. You can order it from his website- i think it
is Drnase.com or something to that effect. it outlines every single type of
laser treatment prescribed for rosacea and the positive and negative aspects
of each. he also details his own personal laser regimen who got him back to
    his "pre-rosacea" stage.
