Photodynamic therapy

To Group and Dr. Nase:

I recently underwent a series of treatments for moderate/severe
rosacea at the Center for Laser Surgery in Washington, DC with Dr.
Robert Adrian. Instead of IPL, he recommended a new therapy in
which a topical solution called Levulan Kerastick is applied to the
skin, then is activated by exposure to a Blue Light. It’s called
Photodynamic Therapy. I had 4 treatments and it really helped
eliminate the pustules on my face, and reduced my rhinophima, as
well as reducing the overproductive oil gland activity on my nose.
Now I am also undergoing a series of IPL treatments for the general
redness.

My question is: has anyone else undergone this? Or read anything
about it? I have seen a couple of news items about it, but nothing

detailed…

Cheers,

Nick
