Here are a few thoughts on this:

1. Biocene is apparently a new HIV/AIDS biological drug and has most likely
only been trialed with AIDS patients. About 60-70% of AIDS patients have
severe Seb derm on their heads, faces, and chests.

However, AIDS patients most likely develop this seveer sebderm because they
are usually very immoblie, allowing for the fungus to wreak its havoc on a
mostly stationary victim. It is then exacebarated by the fact that they are
getting secondary bacterial and funal infections in the seb derm areas
because there immune system has been so disrupted.

2. If you a relatively healthy and active person without AIDS, seb derm
develops as an over-reaction to a normal fungus living on our skin--with
this type of seb derm patient, the immune system incorrectly goes into
<!--more-->
overdirve to fight off the fungus--this is why systemic immunosuppresants
work on this type of patient.

One thing that I truly beleive in, and the above reinforces it, is that the
more active your lifestyle or work environment, the less seb derm flares you
will get--however, tyr not to sweat when exercising, as that cna make seb
derm worse, but stay as mobile as you can during the day.

Not sure if boosting the immune system will work--our immune sytmen already
over-reacts with seb derm.

I do know that suppressing the immune system with steroids (prednisone eg)
clears up seb derm. It is a dnagerous form of treatment howerver as long
term use of prednisone can lead to some bad side effects like bone diseases.

Anyway, keep your eyes on this one in the future.
