Question about Cutanix …
I read lots of good things about their lotions so i went to their
website to check it out.I saw that they have samples and they are
free, so i thought to myself what the hell and tried to order one.But
even though the samples are free they still need a credit card , i
guess its for the shipping , anyway , the problem is that i don’t
have a credit card and it’ll be pretty difficult to get one (that i
can use to shop from the net) in Bulgaria.
I know that lots of you have ordered free samples ,
so my question is - Is there any other way to pay for the shipping
(for example pay for it here at the post office , when it arrives) ?
Ivan
ps
living in Bulgaria sucks big time in terms of available treatment for
SD , every time someone offers something and i try to find here , it
turns out that the guys in the pharmacies havent even heard about
it :):D

Hi Ivan,
You should send an e-mail to the customerservice at Cutanix and ask
if they can send the package and you pay it when it arrives. They
might do it. I have found them to be customer friendly people.
Other than that, isnt there anyone in your family with a VISA or
credit card?

Hi Ivan,
I am from Serbia and I have just ordered DRL samples from cutanix web
site. In Serbia we have Internet VISA cards that work only for web
payments. First I had some problems with it (card was not approved)
and I taught that it can not work ,but after a few minutes I decided
to give it another shot and It was a success.
I have this card issued from Serbian ‘Vojvodjanska Banka’, but
Reifeissen has its Virtuon card that does the same think.
I got Elidel from Greece and I it helped me stay off the
corticosteroids for over three months now. First I applied it twice a
day and now only at night.
What did You use from local medicines? I used mostly steroids like
‘Sinoderm’ and ‘Didermal’ for my face and ‘Mycoseb’(Ketoconazole) and
‘Selsun’ (again Greek) for my scalp. What do you have available in
Bulgaria? Do you have some generic sort of ’sodium sulfacetamid’ ?
I recently found out that there is an IPL treatmant available in
Belgrade. If You are interested go to www.ldi.co.yu. I find this to be
the last resort.
I You wish You can e-mail me at conekg(noSpam)mail.ru.

Hi,
I just thought I should tell you that a good Aloe Vera gel (pure Aloe
Vera) can be as good on seb derm areas as the Cutanix DRL.
It might even be a bit better since it does not make the skin
oily/greasy at all. I have a friend in the USA who has been using
Aloe Vera gel for months, and he says it is just as good as the DRL;
and cheaper. So I went out and bought one since my new Cutanix Order
has not come in the mail. Ive used it a coupe of days, and so far it
is as good as the DRL.

Here is a link to some info on Aloe Vera. There was study that showed
it is effective against Seborrheic Dermatitis.
This is no coincidence, since it contains many anti inflammatory and
anti bacteria substances.
I think there is very good reasons to try a pure and GOOD aloe vera
product for your seb derm. I would go for a gel, because if you buy
any aloe vera lotion or facial product, the other ingredients may be
worse for your skin than the Aloe does good. And a lotion will also
make your skin more greasy, and having seb derm, that is the last
thing you need.
The way I see it, it may be as good as the DRL. I have not used it
long enough to find out, but there are reasons why Aloe work, and
check out the link to see why.
THIS IS NOT to say that you should not use the DRL. I`m just saying
if you want to try something else, Aloe would be one of the better
choices.

I have been using the Cutanix with some success, but sometimes the
seb derm still flares. While on a trip, I purchased Corium 21 which
is mostly aloe vera. It is suppose to help seb derm and rosacea. I
have been using this on my face as a moisturizer during the day, and
Cutanix at nite. I think it has helped. (with seb derm, not rosacea)
Also, Cutanix sometimes cause strong stinging on my face, but the
Aloe Vera cream does not.
I tried to just go with the Aloe Vera product, but I got flakey after
a few days. Alternating seems to work best for me (for now). As you
all know, we can find a treatment that works, and then 2 months
later, it no longer works.

Hi Sunnski,
So the Corium 21 and the Cutanix combined every other night works ok
for you. That is good.
I have been off the Cutanix for almost 3 weeks now because Fedex
f***cked up the shipment so it is still underways, but IT WAS a good
thing since I therefor went out and bought a pure Aloe Vera gel, as I
mentioned, and I have been using this in the morning and after
showering during the day after exercise and so, and then in the
evening I use the Acne Oil Control Gel from Linda Sy in the evenings,
some times every second evening(www.lindasy.com), and it is a pure
salisylic acid gel. It does have some alcohol in it, but the alcohol
seems to vaporise almost before the gel gets onto my skin, so it is
actually very gentle. Anyways, it works well to reduce oilyness and
dissolve sebum, unclog pores. So combined with the Aloe Vera this is
the best solution I have had for my seb derm ever. Remains to see if
it will last.
best wishes everyone,
