cutanix with oral antibiotics?
I just got some samples of the cutanix dramatic relief for oily and
Acne Prone Skin.
In the directions it says: Do not use in combination with oral or
topical antibiotics.
I was sort of taken back by this since it is marketed for people
with atopic skin, rosacea, sebderm. And as far as I know many people
with those problems are on either an oral or topical ABX. SO….I
was just wondering what anyone else here thought.
I did email the cutanix people and am waiting for a reply.
Sincerely
Amon

That does seem strange–only thing I can think is that oral antibiotics make
your skin much more vulnerable to the sun and perhaps the cutanix does too,
but I have tried all the cutanix products and I never remeber reading on a
warning like that

Hu guys,
We had a couple of people who complained to us about exacerbation of
their symptoms and it turned out that they were also on antibiotics.
We believe that the antibiotics may make your skin sensitive to the
quadrinone in our formulation so we went ahead and put that warning
on the label. I believe it is only in those people who have super
sensitive skin to begin with, such as those with rosacea. But, if
you notice an exacerbation of your symptoms and you happen to be
taking antibiotics, give the DRL another try when you have been off
of the antibiotics for at least two week. Hope this helped-
