Lonza Group has received approval for use in Europe of their personal
care fungicide, Glycacil®; providing another extension to their broad
line of preservatives.
Lonza Group has received approval for use in Europe of their
personal care fungicide, Glycacil®; providing another extension to
their broad line of preservatives. Per the 24th Adaptation of the
Cosmetics Directive, this material has now been added to
the "positive list" of preservatives in Europe. This highly effective
preservative is very efficient in inhibiting the growth of yeasts and
molds. Due to its compatibility with commonly used ingredients,
Glycacil® remains fully functional at low concentrations and is very
cost-effective and offers stability over wide pH and temperature
ranges.
Glycacil® is now available for use in Europe, which compliments
approvals in North America and other key regions.
