Cutanix question

Sunday, November 28th, 2004

I just ordered cutanix based on the many positive postings here. I
am curious if people that use this would use the cutanix Dramtic
Relief along with a Ketezonal cream.

I just had a really bad break out of SD, and am currently using the
steroid cream on top of the ketezonal cream, and want to get away
from it asap.

If you use this product, please post and let me know what other
cleanser or topical you use it with, if any.

Thanks,
Karin

Magic pill

Friday, November 26th, 2004

Why can’t someone come up with a magic pill that makes seb derm,
rosacea and all that crap just go away and never, ever come back…?

Apple Cider Vinegar Failure Probability?

Wednesday, November 24th, 2004

I wonder, how many people here tried that and it FAILED? I used to
think it’s just me, after being in the other group. Steven made it as
if everybody who tried was successful (and others failed because
either they have rosacea, or they didn’t do his brother’s diet, etc).
So I’m curious: what is the real probability of success? I’m sure ACV
does help SOME people (there is scientific basis for its success), I
just would like to know what’s the percentile (roughly speaking, at
least).

Is it just me

or does anyone else think that the guy who runs the other Seb Derm
group is a total imbacilic jackass?

Aussie Vacation Over

Saturday, November 20th, 2004

Whats up guys…The Australian vacation is over and just as all of you have
predicted within 2 days of coming back, the seb derm is back and almost with
a vengence. As I mentioned in the past, in Australia i ate what i want,
drank what i want including alcohol, i had plenty of sun, beach and
relaxation and there wasnt a sign of sebderm for 3 straight weeks. It was
summer time in Australia and it was dry, so the humidity was low. Coming
back to winter here in Florida, the humidity isnt to high either, but the
fucking seb derm is back. Already on the sides of my nose, under my arm
pits is the worse, and right under my groin between my two upper thighs is
red and inflammed. But while i was in australia i read an email from the
support group on Burt Butter Bee lotion or what ever it is, and i remember
seeing it at the local health food store, i bought a bottle the first week i
got back and immediately began using it, i must say that the redness and
dryness of my face underarms and groin area has significanltly diminished.
its been about a week and a half now and i will continue to use it. Until i

Useful information on a simple idea

Friday, November 19th, 2004

Here is information that the group might find very interesting…
Aloe vera, a member of the lily family, is a spiky, succulent,
perennial plant. It is indigenous to eastern and southern Africa, but
has been spread throughout many of the warmer regions of the world,
and is also popularly grown indoors. There are about 300 identified
species, but Aloe vera ("true aloe") is the most popular for medical
applications. It has also been known as Aloe vulgaris ("common aloe")
and Aloe barbadensis. The plant has yellow flowers and triangular,
fleshy leaves with serrated edges that arise from a central base and
may grow to nearly 2 ft (0.6 m) long. Each leaf is composed of three
layers. A clear gel, which is the part of the plant used for topical
application, is contained within the cells of the generous inner
portion. Anthraquinones, which exert a marked laxative effect, are
contained in the bitter yellow sap of the middle leaf layer. The
fibrous outer part of the leaf serves a protective function.

Cutanix need beta testers for salicylic acid DRL

Friday, November 19th, 2004

Hi,
I was asked by Brian Pilcher from Cutanix to throw up a post asking
for beta testers for a version of the Dramatic Relief Lotion with 2 %
salicylic acid.
The beta testers so far have been from the rosacea group, and the
plan is to beta test a seborrheic dermatitis group and an acne group.

follow up on Burt’s Bees baby bees buttermilk lotion

Friday, November 19th, 2004

Well it’s been about 18 days since I began using this lotion on my
face 2 to 3 times a day. I still have fantastic results. The areas of
my face that have SD are soft, smooth & look great. Almost all the
time my face looks like I completely don’t show signs of SD while
hardly ever the areas show ever so slight signs of SD. I would
definately recommed this product. I haven’t used any of my
prescription medications since I started with Burt’s Bees. As I
mentioned in my previous posts, I’ve had a mild case of SD for a few
years so if you have a more severe case, you results might not be the
same. In any case, in my opinion, it’s definately worth trying. It’s
about $9.00 for a 7 ounce bottle at trader joes & vitamin shoppes.

The Wonders of Modern Medicine

Thursday, November 18th, 2004

What the article below states is outrageous. I wonder if this
applies to all the medications we use for Sebderm. I wouldn’t be
surprised at all if that is the case.

It’s no wonder that so many people do not get well despite spending
thousands of dollars on medications. And to add insult to injury
people are enduring side-effects for drugs that are doing them no
good. Are we really much better off than people were 100 years ago?

Glaxo chief: Our drugs do not work on most patients

A senior executive with Britain’s biggest drugs company has admitted
that most prescription medicines do not work on most people who take
them.
