vitamin b3 (niacin)

well, havn’t posted in a long time. i’m at college right now and
for a while my seb derm was terrible. i’ve also had another gastro
intestinal upset, the one where i puke uncontrolably for hours. i’m
starting to think i have more than just regular seb derm. i think i
have a vitamin deficiency of some kind because i have red patches of
skin all over my body, and my derm told me seb derm gets better with
sunlight, mine only seems to worsen. i started taking niacin, 500
mg a day and i’ve been noticing some strange changes. the skin on my
arms and legs that have been red or brown are starting to dry up
turn to a white powder, no real results on my scalp or face though,
but maybe it takes a while.

anyway, wanted to tell everybody about it. not sure if it’s going
to do anything but i think i’ll take it for a month and see what
happens.

Have you tested out the possibility that you have a food allergy.
Gluten, dairy,… might be possibilities to test. A good way to test
them might be to simply eliminate them from your diet for a week or
    longer. Check out www.celiac.com
I am just providing you with a possible avenue to test out.
