Seborrheic Dermatitis

although i don’t have continous allergy problems (sneezing, coughing,
itchy eyes, etc. etc.) i did however develop that seasonal sinus
infection the following autumn, after i moved into the basement. you
may want to try non hypo allergenic pillow cases, maybe this would
help. on this site i found the woman complained of having bad
dandruff and after recieving an allergy shot, her dandruff subsided.
however, it did say that it is not recommended to get a allergy shot
to treat eczema or dermatitis, because it usually makes them worse
for some reason.

we have a history of hay fever and asthma in our family and although
i have none of the symptoms (or even dandruff for that matter), maybe
i should get an allergy shot anyway…i’ve never gotten one before,
maybe as you grow older you become more sensative to allergans???

An alarming numbers of our members who have posted in the

sd/acvwm group regarding their history have indicated that they
got "steroid induced rosacea" on top of their seborrheic dermatitis
due to using steroid creams to combat
their SD.

Most of these members were prescribed steroid creams by
their doctors.

due to using acvwm.

Let me talk to you about this. This is either due to her diet(she is
"NOT" following the acvwm group’s suggested diet) or acvwm.

…but I do think hers is due to acvwm applications….

…back to the very small acne. Let me tell you this. I got the same
veryyyyyyyyy small zits(white heads) under my lip(about 1/2 inch
under my lip) to the area above my lower chin. These were very very
small white heads and they disappeared after about 4 weeks later(no I
did not stop using acvwm on those areas, I just washed those areas
with non-animal fat soap and then applied acvwm even on those areas).

wow! you’re serious? please post the results! keep in mind that if
it turns out to be nothing to do with mold it could still be dust
mites (my house is very dusty) or possibly even low levels of radon
gas. i looked in a store room today underneath the upstairs
bathroom, where there are leaky pipes, i didn’t see any visiable mold
but then again, there could be some hiding inbetween boards or
paneling, as it often does.

i’d love it if you’d share the information whether it turns out to be
anything or not!

p.s. about the same time i moved into the basement room, i also
developed a seasonal allergy in the form of a week long sinus
infection. I can now predict when it will happen every year to the
week. anything similar in your case?
