I wonder if you could just buy a bag of sodium chloride and add it to a
sinkful of distilled water to wash your face and hair--be a cheap enough
experiment maybe?

Jasmine, you notice a specific worsening of the
sebderm when you use hard water? Was there a time
when you used hard water, then got soft water, and
noticed your sebderm get better? I am very anxious to
see if there's a real cause/effect relationship there
because I've long suspected that soft water would
help. The only reason I haven't gotten it is that I
was told that a plumber would have to come and run new
pipes from my water main into my garage for me to do
it (and that is going to cost a mint). Nonetheless, I
am seriously considering having it done. It would be
totally worth it if it helped the sebderm.

An acquaintance of mine also told me that a friend of
theirs with rosacea is totally helped by swimming
<!--more-->
frequently in their pool that has a salt-water
chlorination system.
