wow nick

glad i mentioned it.

i forgot to ask you what your symptoms were??? did you have
dandruff and flaky skin or oily, red skin? i have a strange case of
seb derm i think…i have other symptoms besides just red, oily
skin. my hands and feet easily get cold, i can’t concentrate, i am
usually fatigued, some nights i have insomnia (bad sometimes) i
sweat a lot when the temperature is completely normal, etc. etc.
maybe this is related to mold or dust mites but i don’t have any
asthma like symptoms like coughing and sneezing, so maybe not.

i’m not sure if there is any mold in my basement, can you see it if
it’s in between walls?? like a dark impression or something? we
might of just had termites or something before(it was when i was a
kid), but we definately have water leaks down here.

i’ve also been reading up on mercury and copper poisioning, both of
them sound like definate sources of interest for us. mercury
fillings are one of the main causes of mercury toxicity and can
cause dry skin and dermatitis. copper poisioning, i assume, is from
copper pipes that bring the water into your house…the water that
you shower with.

and just a side note to everybody:

i’ve spent a great deal of time researching inflammatory skin
diseases. it would seem to me that dermatologists and pharmacutical
companies have quite the racket going on. how much money do you
think the skin care industry brings in every year off of just acne
alone? millions…billions? why, if they ever came across a cure,
would they let anyone know? the answer is: they will never find a
cure for any of these diseases they consider "minor" problems, they
will keep pushing these products on us for the rest of our lives. i
think at least 70% of all these cases are orginally caused by some
external factor: bad diet, excercise, hygiene, air pollution,
cigarettes and alcohol, vitamin toxicity or an allergic reaction in
Nick’s case. hell i bet every teenager with acne would benefit from
cutting milk and beef out of their diet. i have…i don’t like
putting the antibiodics, hormones and all the other pollutants that
they contain into my body.

i’ve changed my hygeine, i excercise and eat like a health nut and i
still have seb derm and other strange symptoms. this means that my
problem is most likly caused or aggrevated by something around me.

thanks for the info nick

red bumps on my scalp, and my scalp itched 24/7. i also would get
these red bumps all over my forehead. Also had really bad ear wax
    buildup

i am always fatigued and always having a headache and always needing
to just lay down and close my eyes. i slept all the time. in the
past year, ive sweat alot. even the simplest tasks, i’d sweat and
drench my clothes .. i rarely left the house because my body just
seemed to be getting worse every day.

i had a water pipe burst inside the bathroom wall last week and so
the plumber had to break open the wall and i didnt notice any mold
then but i wasnt looking. when the inspector came out… i gave him
permission to tear down a larger portion of the wall to look at the
pipes and stuff and the mold inside the wall was Black Stachybotrys I

believe…. it was blackish in color and the wood was saturated from
other pipe leaks in the past….

Id take pics with my digi cam but I dont want to get close to the
mold and spores again. Im not even sure how I should clean my
furniture when I move. I am sure everything is fine, but I want to
be extra safe when I move. Any ideas on what I can spray onto my
    couches? mattress? clothing?
