STEROID…..INDUCED….ROSACEA
An alarming numbers of our members who have posted in the
sd/acvwm group regarding their history have indicated that they
got "steroid induced rosacea" on top of their seborrheic dermatitis
due to using steroid creams to combat
their SD.
Most of these members were prescribed steroid creams by
their doctors.
here are some of their introductions letters in regards to their
history and what steroid creams they used.
Please remember, only about 10% of all of members or ex-members
have/had actually posted in this group. Most do not post at all. So
we do not know know the exact percentage. …..keep that in mind.
So far, Angel, Chris, Katie, Toni, Jason, …….etc
I may also be forgetting one or two other members who have reported
steroid induced rosacea.
We also have members who do not know whether they have sd…. or….
sd and steroid induced rosacea.
some of our members are also so afraid of the word "Rosacea" that
they may be in denial. Yes these members had also used steroid creams.
Please be very careful with steroid creams………it can truly
spread your SD to all parts of your face, ears, chest, etc …and it
can also give you steroid induced rosacea
Are there any members here who believe they got steroid induced
rosacea after applying steroid creams to their faces?
