This product does not contain any steroids,it is a broad-spectrum anti-fungal like Nizoral but it is suppose to be stronger. The thing i like about Loprox is that it is fragrance-free and it creates quite a rich lather. My samples that i got from my derm are running out so i dont know how much the product cost but in my opinion it is one of the best seb derm shampoos that i have tried. Hope this helps, Gus Hi,
