new to group-acv and Terapro
Hi!
I have severe seb derm of the scalp. It began last fall and my derm
seems relatively insensitive to it.
I have used the ACV with periodic success, and have also found that
Therapro shampoo and pre shampoo for seb derm is quite effective.
I work outside a lot and the heat makes this condition really bad
especially when I perspire. The Therapro products smell very strong,
but sometimes it is preferable to smelling like AVC.
All of your posts have been quite helpful-far more than my doctor,
so I want to thank you. I am doing everything I can to stay away
from the cortesone products.
I tried to look at the new sub derm group, however it seems to take
awhile to be accepted, but I think the diet issue is important. I
still haven’t figured out what triggers this.
My question is about the new Loprox Shampoo. Does it contain
steroids?
Thanks for your help

Hi,
Billie i have been using Loprox Shampoo for a couple of weeks now and
have had good success with it. This product does not contain any
steroids,it is a broad-spectrum anti-fungal like Nizoral but it is
suppose to be stronger. The thing i like about Loprox is that it is
fragrance-free and it creates quite a rich lather. My samples that i
got from my derm are running out so i dont know how much the product
cost but in my opinion it is one of the best seb derm shampoos that i
have tried.
Hope this helps,
Gus

Just wondering if use of propecia worsens the situation….
