It seems for me that when I sleep alot, my face gets really dry in the morning. Another thing I have noticed is that when I stay the night somewhere else, its perfectly fine, no flakes or anything. Could this be due to allergies?

one thing is for sure. i think seb derm is totally an individual thing. i’m
finding no joy what so ever with either the green tea or cider vinegar :O( oh
well. any other suggestions from folks would be well appreciated.
i think change in environment is a major, major factor in this. i too
experience an easing of seb derm when i’m not in my usual place (home).
i think this is all base around a truly mind-bendingly complicated chemical
balance. you know, smiling changes your chemical state so sleeping somewhere
different certainly would. i bet if you stayed for two weeks your usual pattern
would return.
i’m finding that changing moisturiser on occasions really helps. going from e45
to astral on the odd occasion really helps…
this is proving to be hard ailment to get a handle on as a result of this
dynamic nature…

I don’t think I ever get too much sleep -(single mom, working 70+
hours per week, trying to raise two teenage boys). I sleep 5 to 5
1/2 hours per night and try to catch up on the weekend with an extra
8 hours. By the end of the week my skin is always worse - much
drier, more flakes and itching. When you’re tired, your body can’t
take as much abuse and I think your skin is usually the first to
react.
