Yes it has been a miracle for me. I told Chris Scandling who posts
on here to try it as he seems to be a bit frustrated and I
sympathise with him. I was just a little wary of ther fact wether or
not it stretches/thins the skin?

Is theer any evidence that the cream: ELIDEL thins/stretches the skin?

Try to stay positive mate!

Stay away from the steroids though as they are bad news!

Have you got any stretching of the skin from using topical steroids?

Take care..........

MIKE.

Roxy, don't get me wrong. I am scared as hell that this cream may
give me cancer, but until it comes with that warning I will continue
to use it. I could sue the makers of elidel if I do contract cancer
as there was no warning on the label whilst using it so far. Rest
assured I would do this!

I think I am at a stage that like Chris, will continue to explore
ANYTHING that may alleviate the symptoms and cure this horrid
disease. I do appreciate the heads up though.

Mike.

Chris, as you know I only have seb derm on my face. So yes I only use
it on my face. I have been using it for 3 months I reckon with VERY
noticebale results. I can't believe the itching has subsided
dramatically. The redness is still there, but not as prominent.

I believe it has definitly haleped me.

Mike...

Do you still use Elidel on your face and, if so, how often?

I've been using Elidel for a few years, but it's only during the last
year that my condition has really gotten bad.

Just thought I would give you all an update on my usage of elidel.
Chris especially, you will be happy to know that the elidel has worked
wonders for me! I can't believe it has subsided the itch and
dramatically lessened the redness on my face. I would give it a 2
thumbs up for me and would give it a go.

What have you got to lose? It contains no steroids and as for the
cancer threat...well what does not cause cancer these days?

Trust me!

Mike.

I use Protopic. I used to use it in the past but stopped because of the
cancer scare. On my last derm visit a few months ago, she said the
studies used extra high levels of protopic for long periods of time and
she is absolutely sure that a low level of use is perfectly safe and
would use it on herself or her children. I have been using it on a few
areas of the face. I use a very small amount and only use it on
mondays, wednesdays & fridays. I've had great results. I would say that
I have a mild case of sd, around one crease of my nose, the area
between my eyes and the fold behind one ear.

Chris, I have just started using Elidel and find it very absorbing
to the skin as opposed to other creams which leave the skin oily and
greasy. Elidel is very fast acting and has been a miracle for me. I
get seb derm only on my face and has started to clear things up a
little.

Like anything mate, you can "supposedly" get cancer from anything!
Leading dermo's say that Elidel is very safe to use for long periods
of time.
