Salicyclic acid wash
Anyone use a salicyclic acid facial wash like Acnisal (UK brand name)
to help with the scaling?
I’ve used it before, a long time ago, to help with the acne and I was
wondering if anyone here had comments on it?

I haven’t tried that one in particular but I have had success in the past
with two other salicylic products, both from Neutrogena. One is called "Oil
Control Gel" and is .55% salicylic acid. It really dries up oil like
nothing I ever tried and is not irritating at all–leaves the skin
completely matte looking and helps reduce redness.
The other one is called "Nightime Clarifying Gel"–it is 2% salicylic acid
and I use this mostly on my cheeks where i have seb derm rosacea combo
skin–helps with the minor infllamation, papules, and diffuse redness but
does not really work if you have the open weeping seb derm patches (not that
anything really does)
Both of these products are leave on, not washes.
Both of these are pretty cheap too, about $7 US each, worthy investment fo
me as the tubes last forever–
