Something that worked for me….

Since Seb Derm is supposed to be a fungus and the prescription
hydrocortisone cream (Locoid) from the doctor isn’t working, I
decided to try an over-the-counter antifungal cream.
I chose Lotrimin Ultra (Butenafine Hydrochloride). They market two
versions - one for jock itch and one for athlete’s foot - they are
the same, just marketed differently. I have been using it twice a day
since last Monday (9/30) and everything seems to be cleared up. I
have no swelling, redness or flaking. I do have a little dry skin
which lotion is taking care of.
I don’t expect it to be a permanent solution, but it was the only
thing that helped me this time around.
BTW…anyone have this stuff inside their ears? That’s the one area
that drives me crazy. I’ve had several ear infections because of the
inflammation.
