No one really seems to have tried low dose accutane for SD. Is this
because doctors have been reluctant to prescribe it or because those who
have been on accutane have been cured and would have no need to belong to
this group. My brother who had a very severe seborrhea problem went on a
full fledged normal dose accutane 6 yrs ago and has been oil/acne free
since then. Unfortunately I have yet to find a doctor to prescribe this
for me, but I am still hopeful!
Dont’ give up on it if you do not see immediate results–it took about two
weeks before I noticed a diifference but two months later, my skin is still
clear for the most part–spot treat with Desowen or DRL if needed
