Well, I just found out my hypothyroidism may be t
of my skin ’sebderm-like’ troubles.
Let me first explain that I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism
some years earlier.
Last year before before I left for a big trip overseas, I was on 75
mcg Synthroid. While overseas, I could not find the same dosage
strength. Only 100 mcg. But the overseas pharmacists and doctor
said this was a minor difference and would not adversely affect me.
I started getting sebderm and acne problems in October.
Now back in the US, I just was tested again and my test results show
I am getting too much thyroid replacement. I have to lower the dose
back to 75 mcg.
We’ll see how it goes….Personally, I dread going back to 75 mcg
because I may get an increase in fatigue. However, my skin has
improved since about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
By the way….does anyone get sebderm in their ear canals? I have it
on my ear lobes and creases, but I began flaking from inside the ear.
