Dexpanthenol

Hi,
Does anyone know anything about this? All links I can find to it
revolves around hairloss and seb derm, but they say it inhibits 5
alpha reductase.
Why isnt this used for facial seb derm?
Anyone ?

    Reference to a study showing that zinc, b6 and azleazic acid reduced
    alpha 5 reductase 90 %.
