the common denominator possibly

I have being a lot of research on sebderm and acne and I always come
accross the same theme relating back to testosterone.

Sebderm and acne in person’s skin is more than likely because their
skin is HYPER SENSITIVE to normal levels of androgens in their body.
A lot has to do with having a high number of receptor cells in the
skin and the 5 alpha reductase enzyme in the skin that converts
testosterone to DHT (dyhydrotestosterone). This causes increased
sebum production. DHT can be attributed acne, hair loss hirsutism and
sebderm.

OR - (in the case of SOME women) their ovaries and/or adrenals
produce too much testosterone and they may have something called PCOS
(poly cystic ovarian syndrome). There are a host of other symptoms a
woman may experience if she has this problem.

Please check out Keratin.com on seborrheic dermatitis. It has an
interesting article discussing this.

A good question then to ask the group is anyone using Propecia or
Proscar or any other DHT inhibitor to help fight male pattern
baldness? And did you notice a lessening of your sebderm after
    starting this medications?
