I received notice that there have been individuals trying to order
the DRL off of our unfinished website. Please understand that the
website is not live yet (which is why it isn’t at www.cutanix.com).
Please use the 1-888-751-SKIN (7546) number for ordering- Thanks! We
are new to this game so please be patient with us as we learn!

Can anyone elaborate on their DRL or Sulphur Soap

Saturday, September 27th, 2003

Hi,Can anyone who has used DRL or the Sulphur Soap (www.sal3.com)
tell in detail about how it worked and how it works over time?
Also, how many days did it take for the DRl to reach you in the mail?
Seems that all those who got samples didnt tell about how it worked.
Or didnt that many ask for samples in the first place?

On another note, I was fishing in remote fjord here in Norway
yesterday, and we ate blueshells, raw fish eyes, boiled liver, raw,
still beating heart from fish , and we even boiled snails and ate.
In the evening I think I had some signs of hyperA-vitminosis (too
much vit a) But on another note, this food was very fatty, but hasnt
affected my skin badly at all. Salad was provided by eating gralic
and dandelion.
If you think I am kidding, I am not, but its the most extreme picnic
Ive been to, but it beats McDonald with a mile.

5 alpha reductase

Friday, September 26th, 2003

Dear Mads:

Yes, 5 Alpha reductase is the link for skin diseases and hair
conditions. Alopecia, acne, sebderm, hirsutism, etc.

I think that hair replacement industry is getting closer to figuring
out a way to treat conditions that are a result of too much 5 alpha
reductse activity. But dermatologists and the medical community
treating skin conditions have not caught on to this.

I have also wondered, "if they can inhibit 5 alpha reductase on the
scalp through topical preparations, why can’t they create something
similiar for the face and skin (for sebderm and acne)?" Why has
there not been more research given to idea of creating topical
preparations that block androgen activity (DHT and 5 alpha reductase)

Elidel, protopic, DRL

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2003

Hi,
To anyone with experience.
How does Elidel, Protopic and DRL compare?
It seems that DRL should be the first choice since it is no
prescription and after what I have read, it targets seb derm very
well.

Best wishes,
Mads

A happy twist

Wednesday, September 17th, 2003

I am a long term skin problem person. Previously diagnosed with acne
vulagris. Anyway, since last October, my skin was getting out of
control even on the meds that I take to control it. (Diane 35 an
anti-acne/seborrhea birth control and Retin-A 0.1%). I was also
developing a dermatitis on my face which before was localized on my
ear lobes. My doctor and I disagree on what is wrong with me.

What is really strange, is that since last week, the day my period
began…my skin has gone totally clear on my face. My ears still
have the dermatitis. But that is it! I mean totally clear. My mom
is shocked at the 180 degree turn around.

Anyway, I decided to stay off the Diane 35 and Retin-A until I see
the dermatologist. I want her to see my face in its "natural state"
unaffected by meds. But wouldn’t it be strange and wonderful if this

tea tree oil update

Tuesday, September 16th, 2003

Here is a little report on my experiences thus far
with tea tree oil for those who are interested. First
of all, I am using tea tree oil soap followed by pure
tea tree essential oil. For the first 24 hours, I
experienced some irritation. I woke up on Day 2 and
my entire face was peeling off like a molting iguana.
I de-flaked, and my face wasn’t irritated as it
usually would be. My skin felt soft, and no flakes
reappeared throughout the course of the entire day -
and the next, and the next! Usually after deflaking I
would have a new crop by about 4 pm the same day! My
skin went about 3 days flake-free and it felt great.
Then I woke up and had a repeat iguana experience on
about Day 4. That has pretty much continued to be the
pattern.
