tea tree oil guinea pig
I have been using tea tree oil soap on my face as well
as pure tea tree oil. I have been doing it for a few
days now, and it seems to be improving things, though
not dramatically. It sure feels good, though! It
makes my skin tingle, and the soap smells great. The
oil (which is not at all oily) seems to make my skin
less oily, and it keeps that squeaky-clean-just-washed
feeling for a longer time. So far, though, I still
have flakes and an overall generalized pinkness, but
no severely irritated areas like I usually do (mainly
sides of mouth). I will be sure to post to the list
any results as time goes on — good, bad, or neutral ![]()
(I know I posted a similar request once before - but I
would love to hear from anyone who has dabbled in tea
tree oil as well)

Sandra, did you not see my reply before to your original post?
I did have tea tree oil soap (but used it up), and am still using tea tree
shampoo from time-to-time.
I am pretty sure it did have some effect. Tea tree oil is supposed to be an
antiseptic I think, or an astringent. It is being cited over here as a natural
alternative for spot killing. I had a friend use it a while back for spots, and
it seemed to have some effect on that also.
