Gave DRL Another Try
Okay, I tried DRL again over the holiday on the sides
of my mouth, definitely my worst sebderm area. The
AWESOME news is that it seems to be helping the
sebderm, and really reducing irritation and redness.
The BAD news (isn’t there always some of that?) is
that it definitely gave me three zits, and I am NOT
prone to breakouts. Brian, do you think it could be
the mineral oil? Have you seen this with others? And
what about losing effectiveness — does it seem to
keep working pretty well, unlike ketoconazole and
selsun? When I tried those two, I could have sworn I
was cured for three weeks…then unfortunately had to
deal with the backlashes.

Sandra,
I am pleased you tried it again- this time with better results! We
have had a number of individual testers tell us that they are
susceptible to the mineral oil- which is why we are nearing
completion of a new "sensitive skin" formula that has the mineral
oil (and a number of the alcohols) removed. Sorry to hear about the
acne.
As regards your question about losing effectiveness- we haven’t had
one report where effectiveness is lost. Rory, our original tester
case, can testify to that.

Sandra,I used the lotion for a month with excellent results
throughout that time.I then gave the rest of the bottle to
my brother, because he eats and drinks krap every day and his
sebderm was in a bad way.He was able to squeeze over ten to
twelve weeks out of the bottle, also with excellent results
throughout this time. The sample we received was the 0.5% strenght
back in january. As my brother was nearing the end of the bottle
he was only using it once a day with a very light application
and there was no sign of the lotion loosing its effectiveness.

Awesome!! Hopefully the sensitive skin formula won’t
cause the breakouts and we’ll all be CURED!
We can dream, right?
