DRL Question for Brian
Brian,
Will warm temperatures harm DRL? The reason I ask is
that I know some topical medications break down and
lose effectiveness if they are stored above room
temperature. I do a fair amount of traveling. If I
leave my DRL in a garment back that’s in a warm car
will that be a problem? Thanks.

Dave,
In all of our formulation testing we heat the lotion to at least 110
degrees F for extended periods of time (weeks) and make sure that the
lotion remains intact. In response to an e-mail from another user we
found that at high temps the lotion gets a little "liquidy" but does
not separate. He contacted us again after the lotion cooled down and
found that it was a normal consistency again. We put a sample at 140
deg F this week for 48 hr and it did not separate either. So the
short answer is NO. Best of luck.
