Sorry Dave,I missed a couple of your questions.

Sunday, June 29th, 2003

I had total clearance with 0.5%. Like I have said before
this product will not loose its effectiveness because it
works in a different way to other topicals. Most of the
topicals we have all used just kill the P.Ovale, but like
bacteria,P.Ovale can get harder to kill because fungus can
build up a certain immunity after a while.DRL blocks the
inflammation pathway so that it doesnt matter about the fungus
on the skin. But the most important thing is that it normalises
keratinization and this is what can cause the most inflammation
in skin.

Cutanix DRL

Sunday, June 29th, 2003

Dave you are so right.I dont know whats going on in the
rosacea forum but it feels like your in a game of chess
when you post something. One wrong or misplaced word and
some people will come down on you like a ton of bricks.
As for Mr Pascoe.I would prefer not to think about him
because I will just go redder.

Like Adam has said this is not a cure but a control and
in my experience a total control. The bottle I received
was only 25ml.Its like a very light cream which is very
easy to apply and it smells funny but not a smell that
would annoy you.I used it for one month with total clearance
during that time.I purposely changed my diet and started
back on sugar and dairy which can increase seb derm for
me,but my condition was still totally clear. My brother

Cutanix DRL Question For Rory

Friday, June 27th, 2003

Rory,

Hope you don’t mind answering some questions regarding
your experience with Cutanix’s Dramatic Relief Lotion.
You said that after two days using CX452 your seb
derm was gone. How long did that last? I hope you’re
going to tell us that this is a cure. You use it for
two days and it permanently cures seb derm, right? :) Everything that I’ve used on seb derm loses its
effectiveness after a while so I have to constantly
rotate treatments. Is this the case with Dramatic
Relief Lotion?

Are you still using the product? How often are you
supposed to apply it? How do you apply it? Is it a

Biogen’s Amevive

Friday, June 27th, 2003

On Friday evening I heard on the Nightly Business
Report (NBR) that Biogen’s stock had soared that day
on news that an FDA advisory committee had recommended
the approval of Amevive for chronic plaque psoriasis.
Does anyone know if this product would help seb derm?

BTW, NBR did a segment on biotech and said that there
has been a large increase in new drugs in the pipeline
for FDA approval. Hopefully some of these will help
seb derm.

No I dont.Maybe he is so busy answering the querys on
the forum that he doesnt have time to answer anything
else.I never realised that my little document would
cause such a stir.Maybe if you contact Andrew(anreid911)
and ask him since he was the one who originally contacted
Dr Pilcher to post to the forum.

One more thing Adam

I think I saw a post from you on the Rosacea Support
Group asking Matija about Dr Sys regime. One of the
ingredients in Dr Sys regime is Tagamet(cimetidine).
I would advise you to stay away from Cimetidine as it
can aggravate Seb.Derm. Do a search on your engine.
Put in "cimetidine seborrheic dermatitis" and you will
see what Im talking about.

Cutanix.

Tuesday, June 24th, 2003

Adam,I have emailed the Cutanix document
to Matija to post on the Rosacea Support
Group twice last week but I dont seem to
be getting a reply.Would you be able to
post this to the group with the document
please?

Cutanix Dramatic Relief Lotion.

Tuesday, June 24th, 2003

Dave,I dont know what price it will be but as soon as
I know I will let you know.
It will only be available to buy from Cutanix through
their website.
I also dont know how it would be on the scalp. If it was
to be applied to the scalp then it would have to be left
on in order to receive the full benefit of the product.
Unlike antifungal shampoos which kill the P.Ovale after
5 minutes you can wash it off,DRL is an immune inhibitor,
which blocks the inflammation from starting and must be left
on the skin.I dont thik that a shampoo made from this product
would ne successful.

Is there anyone here who is a member of the Rosacea Support
Group?

Cutanix"Dramatic Relief Lotion"

Monday, June 23rd, 2003

This is how it all began for me.A few months ago
I emailed the university that developed Melanx
(a new topical that can induce a tan without sun
exposure)to ask them if this topical would be too
harsh to use on Rosacea skin. They replied and said
that it will not have a harsh base and that they have
also got a topical which they have developed for Rosacea
which they have sent to the lab(cutanix). So I rang Cutanix
and was fortunate enough to get through to the COE Mr Charles
Ingals. He was kind enough to send me a small bottle to try
out.I had no irritation to the lotion unlike Elidel and Protopic
which caused a lot of irritation and I didnt see any improvement
to my Rosacea. But I couldnt believe how smooth my skin was after
a couple of days on it.No flakes and no ichiness and totally
clear of seb derm on my face. After six weeks I emailed Mr Ingals
