I found some help
Hi everyone,
Steroid never helped me. My skin really did get worse when I used it. It
only helped in the beginning of the treatment and seemed great because of
that, but afterwards it was not good at all.
I haven’t used it since January and I am happy to tell you that I found
something much better.
The lotion I put on every morning and evening is ESSEX - a moisturizer
without carbamide. It really have cured me and my skin is normal again. No
problems since about 1 month ago.
Another thing that seems to be excellent for keeping the skin in good
condition is green tea. Thanks a lot for giving advices about this tea. I
use ESSEX and green tea every day - never giving it up though the skin is
clear.

PS I don’t have problems with my scalp. I use Clinique´s shampo and balsam.
It’s quite expensive but worth it since it’s friendly to the scalp and gives
your hair a great quality.
You don’t have to buy it often. A bottle of each (shampo and balsam) lasts
for a long time.

Hi all
Just did a search which I should have done before posting , but the Essex
moisturizer to which tina is referring is called DML here in the US and
Canada. It seems to be high in dimethicone which is also recommended for
rosacea skin as well.
I have been wanting to try this lotion. Now you have me convinced. Wonder if
it is available in Canada?

Thanks for the tip about the essex. is there a website or a place where this
product can be found? And do you use a cleanser from the same line or
something different.

Hi Linda,
On the lotion there’s an information telling it’s a product from
Schering-Plough Portugal/Portugal.
Dimethicone is one subs. among others. I think you mentioned something about
that, didn’t you?
No, I don’t think they have cleansers or something like that but there must
be a website with more information about their products (you would find
Essex Lotion there).
